With standing 163 years in business we have the oldest post office in one place and in one room in Michigan, come step back in time and enjoy our General Store. Open 8 am to 9 pm every day of the week. We have penny candy, purchase some jams/ jellies, sandwiches, jumbo cookies, pickle on a stick and check out our antiques. We were the 1st retail general store between Fort Wayne to Mackinaw and still going strong all year long.

The Otsego County Historical Museum is located at 320 W. Main Street in Gaylord, Michigan. The Museum is operated by the Otsego County Historical Society.  Dates and hours that the Museum is open to the public are listed below.  The public is welcome and encouraged to visit the Museum.When you enter the Museum, you will see a variety of displays illustrating the history of Otsego County.  You will also notice the original tin ceiling.  The building was constructed in 1910 and was originally used as a cigar factory.
